getting out of new home construction contract

5 months ago signed contract to purchase inventory home under construction from builder. Put 5% down + 10,000 in upgrades. Now want to get out of contract. What can I expect them to ask for in return. Is this even possible? How should I approach them? I do not want to buy this house any longer.
