My divorce papers say i need to sign a quit deed to the house. It was to be noterised. I signed it but did not have it noterised. Is the paper i signed legal? My name is still on the account.

Quit Claim Deeds have NO impact on the mortgage account, and have no impact at all unless and until they are filed with the clerk. If the Quit Claim you signed was not notarized then it should not be filed.
