Home Equity Line of Creditt

I signed as a co borrower on a home equity line of credit with a family member. I am only on the HELOC not the first mortgage, Me and the Family member are having some disputes. What legal rights do I have. Can I force the sell of the property or force them to refinance the loan? And would I of been added to the deed of the property since this is a 2nd mortgage?

You can neither force sale nor refinance. All you have done is guarantee that you will pay the HELOC if the family member doesn't. If the family member doesn't pay the HELOC, you can sue that family member for the money you have to pay.
