Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I own a home with my ex and now she is trying to make me sign a settlement agreement that I do not agree with in order for her to "allow" me to pick up my personal belongings. How do I fight this?

If by "ex" you mean an ex-wife, then you question is probably better suited for a divorce attorney. If there are any existing orders of a court that forbid you from returning to the home then you must obey any such orders.

Settlement agreements are voluntary, you should not sign anything to which you do not agree. I strongly suggest that you consult with a divorce attorney. Feel free to call me if you would like a referral.
