When two people do not get along and one wants to sell the home and the other does not. What do they do

It depends how the property is titled. Assuming that it is titled as Tenants-in-Common, you need to file a Complaint for Real Estate Partition. In laymen's terms, it is a lawsuit for the court-ordered forced sale of the property. Normally, it does not get to that point. Typically, one owner refinances and buys out the other owner. This is not something that you can do on your own, so I recommend contacting a local real estate attorney.
