NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such nformation, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

If I understand your question properly, you have a very sticky situation. Your girlfriend, has allowed her children and their families to live in your home. You have apparently asked them to leave and they have refused. She has threatened to file a domestic complaint if you take any action.

You could change the locks when they are not there, but if they called the police, you would probably be told to let them back in or if they followed through with their threat, you would be forced to move.

Your only legal method to remove them from the permises would be by eviction or ejectment, whichever is proper under the exact circumstances of their tenancy. You should meet with an attorney and review the facts with him/her. The attorney can then give you specific advice on how to acheieve your goal.
