You may changed the locks, but you may not "dispossess" the other party, or prevent them from occupying the home. You can change the locks and give them a key. If you don't want the other person to have possession of the home, or be able to enter the property, then you need a real estate attorney to file an action for partition and injunction. There will be an accounting to sort out who owes what money to the other for "bills" including taxes and maintenance. The court may order the property to be sold, and you may be the highest bidder, so that the other party receives their share of the value of whatever equity exists. You may also want an injunction against them if there is a problem between you and them, and they may cause damage to the property or injury to you.
