Home Rentals

My wife and i live in Bradenton, FL.

Is it legal for a landlord to rent a home and state in the contract that he is not responsible for any upkeep or repairs on the house. The renters are responsible for any repairs, like the AC, the fridge, or oven and so on. Thank you so much for your time. KC

The landlord is liable for heating and pest control. Otherwise, it is legal for a lease to make a tenant liable for all other repairs.
