Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I have a home that I rented out since april and my tenants have already damaged my floor to the point where the floor is popping up because the boards are warped they mopped my hardwood floors with water and now there trying to stick me with the bill.

I need to find out if they can hold me responsible for such repairs eventhough I have video proving that there was nothing wrong with the floors in the house prior to me leaving.

You should be able to file suit and obtain a judgment allowing you to deduct the cost of repair from the security deposit.
