Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

There are homes in my neighborhood in which haven't been occupied in years. I believe at least one has been abandoned. They are not listed at my tax collectors office as abandoned. So my question is this, How would I go about Adverse Possession of the property/home or even how does that law work. Can you refer any direct link explaination? I plan to abide by the Law to the T for sure, But am curious about the property in my neighborhood. What If I cannot contact the owner or the owner is deceased etc? I really do not think the homes are being used as they have signs of neglect as well.

If you know that title exists in another and You have no such claim it is unlikely that you will ever have an adverse possession claim. You may be guilty of trespassing. Seek actual legal

Help. The owners can be found.
