Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My house went into foreclosure. It went up for auction and sold for more than owed. There is around $6,000 that seems to go to the clerk of court, is that how it works?

Read your judgment and the final orders. They spell out your rights. Usually, the excess gets paid into the registry of the court until someone with the right to the money applies for it.
