Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I own a house in NJ, and a condo in Miami, FL. I took out a Home Equity loan against the condo for 140,000. I am planning to walk away from the Miami condo, since my primary recidence is my NJ home. Will the bank put a lien on my NJ home?

If a deficiency judgement is issued in Florida, it is possible the judgement could be domesticated in another jurisdiction. However, you need to check with NJ law to see if it can be brought to NJ and whether NJ provides any protection to NJ residents primary homes.
