Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My husband and I bought a townhouse in Florida. We had gotten a FHA Loan. We moved to Montana a couple of years ago and had to rent out our home because property values have plummeted. Last year we had to use all of our savings on a new roof, repair of dry wall in 2 rooms, new dryer, new dishwasher, repair of oven, etc... What we are able to rent does not cover the full amount of the monthly mortgage and HOA fees. Now our property tax has sky rocketed! We are behind on our mortgage payments and the company is talking about foreclosing on the townhouse. If they foreclose on the townhouse, can they garnish my husband's wages for the difference from the sale and what we owe? My husband's a mailman and head of house.

The enforcement if a deficiency judgment is controlled by the law in your new state. Check with an attorney there.
