Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My husband & I live in fla, we built our home 20 yrs ago & paid cash, we never had a mortgage, we're thinking of selling, where would we go to get a deed for the home, or do we need one ? Thanks for your help

You don't need to get the Deed. It will be on public record and you can find it there. If you are selling the property, hire an attorney to assist you. He/she will get the record title information to show the buyers that you have clear title to the property.

You do not need a deed to prove your ownership. You will need to convey a deed transferring your ownership to the new owners.
