Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

my husband refinanced the house without my knowledge. i am now in the middle of a divorce and was granted the house. he never forwarded any info on the insurance/taxes so now the mortgage is behind and in possible foreclosure. can i be held liable for the payment on a contract i had no knowledge if? can they take the house since he is no longer the owner?

Your attorney should have known all of this. If you did not sign the note, you are not responsible to pay, but the lender can foreclose on the mortgage
