Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
inheritance rights
My children and I inherited a condo (me 50%, each child 25%). One chld wants to buy a house, so is now asking for her $ value in condo. Possible, to give only part, with signed paper deducting that amount when condo is sold. Or does the whole amount have to be paid to her? Is value based on time of death/inheritance or present. Is it tax county prop appraiser basis? Thank you.

Re: inheritance rights
You can buy her share out or sell the eintire condo and split the proceeds.
