Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I want to have an in-law removed from my home

I recently purchased a home in Florida for my retirement. I am the only buyer/owner. I made an arrangement with my daughter verbal) that she and her husband could live in the house with me and when I passed away the house would become my daughter's. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I now want to invite my son-in-law to leave. I no longer want him living in my home. What do I need to do to have him removed? We have no written agreements or lease arrangements. It was a totally verbal agreement. My daughter and son-in-law are paying rent of $1000.00 per month, but he has decided to quit his job and live off of my daughter and I cannot permit that. Please let me know what steps I need to take. Thank you.

You must start an eviction proceeding pursuant to Chapter 83 of the Florida Statutes. If you cannot do it retain an attorney. You may call me to discuss further. How does your daughter feel about this?
