inspecting the appartment

does my landlord has the right to come into my appartment without any notice and when there is no one at home?

she usualy comes when everybody is gone and whenever she wants once a moth and to be honest i don't think that is having privacy. she doesn't call or live a notice on the door or a simple call

what can i do?

She has no right to enter without reasonable notice to you and your presence. Write her same by certified mail. After that she is trespassing.

Follow Mr. Slater's suggestions. Also, read your lease to learn if it specifically prohibits you from changing your door lock(s) or adding an additional lock. Reduce all communication with the landlord regarding this matter to writing and send it by certified mail (return receipt requested) and fax to be able to show that it was received by the intended recipient. Obviously, make a copy of any communication for your records. Good luck.
