Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Iwant to sell my jointly owned home with my wife. she does not. it is a large asset that i wholly owned before our marriage. she is an immigrant and her immigration lawyer recommended that i put her name on the deed saying it would benefit her status if she was a property owner. upon either of our deaths we both would be each others sole beneficary. i am a developer and want to use that money for a new project in a different state.

She has to agree because she is on the title. The issues of how it started out are not resolvable without a lawsuit to quiet title OR divorce. You need attorney.
