My job is transferring me

my job is transfering me to a city 360 miles way i just sign my lease in february 2002 and my landlord wants to charge me 2400 dollars to move out is there any clause that indicates that if i move over 100 miles away with proof of move of cource i can be let out of my lease with out such a high penalty thank you

NO, HOWEVER YOUR LANDLORD HAS AN OBLIGATION TO MAKE reasonalble efforts to re rent the apartment to reduce your damages.
