Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Joint Tenancy/Tenants in Common
I own a home outright. What is the simplist way to put my
''significant other'' 's name on the deed or what other legal document will make him a co-owner?

The proper execution and recording of a quitclaim deed is the simplest way to accomplish your goal. Seek the advice of a real estate lawyer to ensure that the quitclaim deed is properly prepared and recorded with the correct taxes or fees being paid, so as to ensure the validity and effectiveness of the transfer of title to the real property. Good luck.

The previous reply is endorsed. But are sure you want to do that?
