Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Judgement
I have filed a certified copy of an Agreed Order and Judgment against my ex-wife for monies owed to me from the sale of our marital home. She has now quit claimed the property to reflect her nickname as her first name and her maiden name as her last name. Do I need to file another document? The Judgment states after recording the Judgment it shall become a lien on the real estate she currently owns. Can I file a lien on the property also? The lawyer who assisted me on this is no longer practicing law.Thank you.

Re: Judgement
The lien runs against the property. I wouldn't worry. If she trys to sell your lien will come up.
Good luck.
