Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I have a judgement on me. It started on 9/2013. My question is how long do I need to wait to find out if they're going to drop it? I've made one payment the very first payment but I have not made another payment after that and I was just wondering what is the next process. I never even went to court about this. I went to a court reporter and answered some questions but then the next thing I know I have a judgment on me for a wreck. I got into where the kid behind me hit me because I didn't have any insurance. So if somebody could answer me this question it'd be great
