Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Landlord served with forclosure

I have been renting our house for the last 6 months my rent is paid current and i have a year lease. I received a phone call today at work from my wife saying we were just served papers saying our landlord is being sued for forclosure. We originaly leased the property through a real estate company which we paid first last and 2 security deposits pet deposit totaling a little over 9k. according to the paperwork we received today the landlord has not made a payment since a month after we moved in, but yet has still been on 2 vacations since we have lived here. so i am hoping to get some suggestions. we live in Boynton Beach Fl. Thank You

Re: Landlord served with forclosure

You must file an answer to the foreclosure so you will receive further notice. You may want to hold off further rent.
