landlords access
my landlord is comming in to do repairs, which is fine but, they are insisting on when they are coming in, if it is not convient for us then oh well, my husband works all week and the only time we have to do the things we need to do together is on the weekend and that is when the landlord wants to do things.is there a statue that states they can only come in during the week?or hours and days they are allowed by law to come in?

Re: landlords access
There is no statute stating the dates and times
a landlord must do repairs. One would need to review
your lease agreement. If nothing is mentioned in
the lease agreement, then the law provides you
must give them reasonable access and that the landlord
cannot breach the peace in forcing himself on to the
property. What is reasonable depends upon the nature
of the repair. You also need to be aware of what is
involved if the Landlord does act unreasonably. You
may find the Court's are not a good place to seek
redress for these types of problems. I strongly suggest
you work things out with the Landlord.
