Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Late payments on time share

I have a time share that I have had for less than one year. I have had serious medical problems for 6 months and have been late on my payments. I received my last time share payment back from the mortgage company. I called them and was told that because it was less than 1 year this is a tertiary bill and we are no longer obligated to pay it and we do not have to go to court. If it had been over 1 year, it could have went into foreclosure. Have you ever heard of this before. I live in Florida and bought this place from Ron Jon Cape Cabri and the mortgage company is Universal Mortgage. I asked her did we need to sign something to sign it over to them and she said ''no.''

Re: Late payments on time share

no-sounds like a fraud because they should have to foreclosure your interest out or take a deed in lieu of foreclosure.if you need my assistance e-mail me your phone number at my e-mail address and I will call you. Good luck.

p.s.-if this isn't handled correctly your credit will be shot.
