Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
In a lawsuit with a bank, regarding foreclosure, what does "Notice of Dropping Parties" mean? Are they still defendants or is the case over and the bank now owns the property? Please help. Thank you

A notice of dropping party means that the party named in the pleading is dropped as a defendant. They no longer are required to pursue the case by the Plaintiff. It is not an indication of the status of the lawsuit in general. It does not address property ownership.
