Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Lawyer representation for closing
I signed a contract to purchase a new townhome with a builder. I can use the builder's mortgage company (must use their title company). Should I hire a real estate lawyer to look after my interest in closing and if so, approximately how much time is involved?

Re: Lawyer representation for closing
Yes you should. An attorney should review the contract, mortgage, title policy, insurance, builders warranty and review your closing costs. He can also go to the the closing with you to make sure all papers are correct. Call if you should need representation. Good luck.
