Lean

A pest inspection and treatment was performed in 2004, after that date (event) I am in the process of purchasing this home. The seller does not want to pay the pest inception company for the work in 2004. If I purchase this house can a lean be put on the property after it goes through escrow and closes? Can I then become responsible for this bill?

Retain counsel. Why look and buy a problem. Insist seller pay the expense...unless it was done at your request.
