Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My lease ends March 30 of this year. We found a new place that wont be available until April 15. We asked our landlord to go month to month. He said no and wants us out end of Feb which is this week. Is this legal?

No. You can stay until your lease terminates. He is not obligated to extend.
