Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Lease With Option to Buy
I own a house which I have ''leased with
an option to buy'' to a man for the past
20 years. The lease was mature in May
and I've since asked him several times
to transfer the title to himself. He has
not done so and I'm not sure how to
proceed. Would a Quit Claim Deed be
appropriate? He owns it now and I want
the legal record to show I do not. What
is the best way to proceed. Thank you.

Re: Lease With Option to Buy
I would suggest you retain an attorney like myself
who is familiar with real property to finish this transaction so that your rights as well as other party rights are protected. If you would like to talk with me call me at my office tomorrow.(9/25/06.
