If the lease was signed with full ceneral A/C system, it went out in July 1st repaired Aug.30th , I paid rent inadvance does landlord have to give me credit for those two months, I need help on this matter. I am 74 years old, female

You may deduct whatever the value of having AC is for two months. If you can find rentals with/without AC. It is hard to judge what the value of AC is, but during July and August, in Florida, I would say about 20% of the rent, ie, if you pay $500/month, then $100/month. You may have to go to small claims court to make your case, but I would award you 20% for what some would consider an essential feature of the property.
