Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Lease termination

My daughter asked her real estate property manager if she could get out of her lease a few months early in order to buy a home she had found. The property manager relyed the question to the owner who later gave an oral OK to the property manager. Now that the process of buying the new home is coming to closing the landlord has changed his mind. Can we make him stick to his earlier agreement to release my daughter from her lease? The idea of moving first was prompted by the owner who is moving back into the house after this lease is up and had even asked my daughter if she would be willing to move out early prompting the original search for a house to buy.

Re: Lease termination

Read your lease regarding termination.

I doubt he will concede his oral statement.
