Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Sub- Leasing an apartment
I subleased my apartment without the knowledge that I needed to have the leasing offices permission. The tenant that I had a subleasing agreement with gave me a check that bounced and did not pay for the last 15 days she lived there, and broke the contract. She left the place in a mess and broke a few things. Can I take her to small claims court and fight her for the damages? If you need more details please let me know, if you can?

Yes you can sue her for the costs you have to pay the landlord. You'll ned proof of the damages and costs. Good luck.
