If you signed a rental/credit application, does that qualify as a lease? Is it legally binding?

Without seeing the document there is no reliable reply. But,it is highly unlikely that a credit application can rise the status of a lease.

An attorney would need to see the agreement, but it can be a binding contract without being a lease.
