Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Lien
In our divorce agreement, my now ex-husband has defaulted on his contractual obligation to pay me $60,000 from sale of house from me to him. He is now living in the house. I want to file a lien so I can get my money when he tries to sell the house. How do I go about this?

Re: Lien
With this much money at stake you would be well advised to have an attorney protect your interest. You should engage a local attorney to handle this for you.

Re: Lien
Retain counsel.
Your divorce judgment must be filed, a lis pendens may be in order, a claim of rent may be in order, a lawsuit may be in order.
