Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Lien on home
I just got a lien placed on my home by our home owners association. i plan on paying the $215 plus fees tomarrow. my question is, once this is paid, what happens? I want to make sure i do everything I need to on my part to make sure they cant foreclose on my home over $215. Also, what effect will this have on my credit? Thanks very much.

Re: Lien on home
Once the lien is paid in full, the association must file a Release or Satisfaction of Lien. If the original lien was recorded in the Public Records, then the Release/Satisfaction must be recorded as well. This should not affect your credit.
