Listing agreement legal or not

I signed a listing agreement with a real estate agent. This agent is not living up to his promises. I noticed on the listing agreement the starting date of our agreement is 8/2/03 and the ending date is 2/02/02. Do we have a legal agreement? Can I fire my real estate agent?

The terms of your agreement dictate your rights and obligations. If your realtor is not performing in accordance with the agreement, you have a basis to terminate the agreement, but without a review and analysis of the actual agreement, I cannot give you any specific guidance.
