Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I live in florida, and am renting my house out so I can move closer to school. My tenant vacated the house without warning 3 months into his 1 year lease. There was no 7 day notice or letter warning of any problems he was having. After he moved out I received a certified letter stating the reasons why he left. He said I invaded his privacy, didn't fix things on time, and didn't tell him where I placed his security deposit. He wants to get his last month and security deposit back and threatens to take me to court if I don't. Can he win because I didn't deposit the security deposit in a seperate account but put it in my own account? I was not aware I had to until now.
