Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I live in Florida and have a small palm tree with 3 stalks. The upper half of one stalk extends over onto my neighbors property according to him. He insists I remove the part that overhangs. He has already cut off all the palm fronds on that stalk. There is no fence and he will not talk to us so we do not know how he determined where the property line is exactly. He just keeps leaving us notes taped to the tree. None of the tree touches any part of his house or blocks his access to his yard. Can he continue to cut off parts of our tree?

I don't see any reason why he can't cut the part of the tree that hangs over his property.
