Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I live in Michigan and my Father lives in Florida. I am the executor of his estate. We have been meaning to transfer the house title into my name. So it may be sold after his passing. Unfortunetly we have not completed this task, My Dad is now very ill. In order to avoid this property (house) going to probate , seeing as how l live so far away. My question is : Is it legal for me to buy a Quick Claim Deed kit, whether it is paper or on-line, to complete this task.? f the procedure is followed correcty would this be a wise decision?

Probably not very smart. There may be no real reason not to have the house pass through probate. Talk to a lawyer. It shoudn't cost more than a few hundred dollars.
