Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I'm going through a loan modification - my property is in Florida. On of the docs that I need to sign and notarize is a "Florida Affidavit of Continuous Marriage" form. The problem is that I purchased my property 7 years before my marriage but the form states that I was already married when I purchased it. I've told the bank several times that I will not sign a form that is incorrect. They said that Fannie Mae requires that I sign it - if not, I will not get the modification. Thsi does not make sense. What is the form for?
