Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I made an investment on a house that is deeded under my children names.

Irreparable differences between the two exist at this time. Prior to the signing of the mortgage papers, an agreement between the parties was signed naming me as a silent and major investor with the deciding vote.

Is this document "legal" in a court of law and how much power does it carry?

In order to answer your question I would need to know if your children are over 18, the amount of the investment you made in the House, and a background in regarding this agreement. It sounds like the intention was to give you a tie-breaking vote but on what basis. If you want to discuss this matter further with me e-mail me your phone number.
