Marketability of a Quit Claim Deed

My husband wants to purchase a deed from our lands available for taxes list. I am under the impression that this is not a tax lien certificate but a quit claim deed. Is it possible to get a clear title on this type of deed if we decided to resell. If so, would you say that it is a relatively easy process, or is it long and expensive?

You get no guarantee of clear title. You must first retain a title company to exam title before you buy at a tax sale. Good luck.
