Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Miami Beach City Code/Parking Enforcement want to take away my Street Parking Permit, stating I have a Commercial vehicle and am in breach of contract.

My vehicle is a Electric Street legal golf car, with logo stickers of my favorite Energy Drink.

I was told the stickers make it commercial, although I dont get any monies from any company, it is simply my taste of making my car cool. Vehicle is used for personal recreational use ONLY.

I have had Parking Permit for 3 years, and now they say something.

According to Florida Law Article 1, Sec.106-1 - Definition of Commercial Motor Vehicle - I am not.

According to Miami Dade Ordinance Sec. 33-124-1 - Def of commercial Vehicle - I am not.

How can I solve this matter?

Get a letter from the company explaining you receive no compensation for the energy drink. State in the letter that if they cooperate you will send a copy of all information to the local newspapers IF THEY WANT and they might appreciate the publicity. Just make sure the laws do not state that you are a commerical vehicle EVEN IF you DO NOT get paid. I cannot imagine the laws say that, but check anyway. Contact the public relations department of the company.
