What is a money judgement

I am foreclosing on an investment property and have been served papers.

1) do I need to hire a lawyer if I do not intend to fight the foreclosure?

2) what is a money judgement?

3) can they go after my wages or my home?

1. If they is all they are asking for, no.

But, If they are also requesting a money judgment agsinst you for any deficiency between the mortgage and the sale you should have an attorney.

2. A court judgment directs you to pay money.

3. Possibly.
