Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Please help.....

This morning I spoke to my landlord and we made a verbal agreement that I would leave because of complaints. Now today she put a seven day notice to vacate on my door but no where in the letter did it say that she would give me back the deposit as we had discussed earlier this morning. In the letter it almost seems like she is evicting me... What should I do I am only 18 and do not know anything about this...??? Thank You!!!

Re: Please help.....

Verbal agreements dealing with real estate are unenforceable. The 7 day notice is a prelude to an eviction notice. Be prepared to defend yourself in court. Good luck.
