Mortgage agreement

We signed an agreement with a Florida home seller in early January. Relying upon the advice of the realtor and their mortgage broker, we agreed to close on or before January 27, 2009. We have not met that deadline, through no fault of our own, there's been delays on the three entities that are involved in getting the paperwork completed. What can/or will be our financial liabilities to the Seller since we did not meet the deadline and it is not spelled out in the agreement?

Without reading the agreement no one can answer properly. Try to obtain a written extension.
