Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I want off the mortgage
Last year, I went into an agreement with a business partner in which I was to be the mortgagee for the purchase of a condo that he would make the payments for and inhabit, and both of our names would be on the title. Things have changed, however, and it is now in my best interest that I be off of the mortgage. Unfortunately, my partner disagrees and refuses to help change the situation. Do I have any options? Is there such thing as voluntary foreclosure? I am semi-desperate.
