Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

After my mother in law suffered a severe stroke that has left her 80% paralized, we enrolled her in ahealth care facility. My father in law has passed away. We had a legal trust established so that her Social Security would help pay what Medicaid and Medicare would not cover. She will never be able to leave. We also had she house, which is 100% paid off, switch from her name to ours, to satisfy the requirements of medicaid. My wife's brother who will be released from prison in September after serving 4 years (this time) for stealing checks, stealing household items to pawn and money from their mother from this house. In the last 20 years he has spent 3/4 of it behind bars for drug related felonies. The house is 3 1/2 hours from where we live, when he is released, what legal rights do we have to keep him out of the house. It is no longer his mother's.
